Welcome to the School

New Pattern English School, in its present form was established in the year 1985, it is a progressive, child centered. The School is run under the Al-Azad Educational and Welfare Trust.
The School caters to boarders and day scholars. It is situated in centre of Katihar. At NPES, every possible resource is dedicated to developing in its students the values and skills that form the foundation of a life of accomplishment, leadership and fulfillment. The School promotes intellectual curiosity and disciplined study habits through a challenging curriculum and also promotes active involvement in the life of the campus through a rich co-curricular programmed. In all they do the students are both challenged and closely supported by an outstanding faculty and staff.
As educationists, we are deeply conscious that learning is a lifelong process of keeping abreast with the changes and that we need to give our students a chance at every possible avenue of inventiveness. We at NPES, aim to nurture not just better adjusted achievers, not just better conformers, but young men and women who can strike a new trail, who can redefine notions of success and who can take open hearts and minds out into the society which they can help transform.
It gives us joy to inform about the achievements of our children who bring a lot of pride and acclaim to the School by their performance both in academics and sports. Every year our students selected in Jamie University, AMU and other prestigious institute. The students of the School have not only performed excellently in academics and shown commendable results in the field of sports. We provide scholarships to the students coming from rural background, economically weaker sections and also to those who excel in the field of academics or sports.
